Mr. Pearson obtained his undergraduate degree in business management with a concentration in finance from North Carolina State University in 1999. He received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2002. While in law school, Mr. Pearson was the Research & Writing Editor for the University of Miami Business Law Review, clerked for Circuit Judge Gerald D. Hubbart, authored “The U.S. / Vietnam Bilateral Trade Agreement: Another Step in the Right Direction,” which was published in the Spring 2002 edition of University of Miami Business Law Review, was a research assistant for a law school professor and clerked for a Brickell Avenue commercial litigation firm.

During his career as an attorney, Mr. Pearson has obtained extensive experience in the fields of corporate law, securities regulation and complex commercial litigation. His transactional experience includes preparing private placements, advising boards of directors, forming business entities, negotiating and drafting executive employment contracts, preparing merger agreements, negotiating purchases of businesses, preparing S.E.C. filings and even defending individuals in S.E.C. investigations. He has extensive litigation experience as lead counsel representing plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal lawsuits as well as arbitrations before the National Association of Securities Dealers and the American Arbitration Association. Indeed, the South Florida Business Journal’s article: “Short Sellers take on NASD in South Florida,” specifically discussed a lawsuit filed by Mr. Pearson and included quotes from Mr. Pearson.

In addition to being a member of the Florida Bar, Mr. Pearson is also a member of the federal trial bars of the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Florida, Middle District of Florida and Northern District of Florida. He takes great pride in contributing to the community and is active in organizations such as the Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, the Broward County Bar Association, Broward Lawyers Care and the Kiwanis Club of Coral Springs and Parkland.

In practice for almost thirty-five years, Jay Feldman is a member of the Bars of Florida, New York and New Jersey. His primary fields of expertise include: probate practice, estate planning, special needs planning, wills and trusts, elder care law and elder law (asset-protection and asset-preservation, Medicare and Medicaid), and real estate law (residential, commercial, condominiums and coops).

Jay is the founder and manager of the Elder Law Symposium, a pro bono publico educational program for seniors and their families, available for over fifteen years through the Satklin Senior Center and the Leo Goodman Senior Center. Jay is also a participant in the Justice Teaching Program established through the Florida Supreme Court. He has taught, lectured and written extensively on various legal issues effecting senior citizens and their families.

Michelle Armstrong was born in Coral Gables, Florida, and grew up in Broward County. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Armstrong was a legal secretary and paralegal for nine years before deciding to do more to serve her community and help people solve their legal problems. Ms. Armstrong graduated cum laude from Nova Law School, Fort Lauderdale Florida, in 1991. She received her Juris Doctorate and was admitted to the Florida Bar that year. During law school, Ms. Armstrong served as Articles Editor of the Nova Law Review and served as an intern for a federal judge. Since graduating, she has practiced law in Fort Lauderdale, handling a variety of matters, but has concentrated in consumer bankruptcy, representing debtors and creditors. She has also represented several bankruptcy trustees, who are appointed by the bankruptcy court to manage chapter 7 bankruptcy cases. This experience has provided Ms. Armstrong with a unique insight into the administration of a bankruptcy case.

Ms. Armstrong is licensed to practice in all state courts in Florida and is a member of the General Bar of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is a member of the Florida Bar, the Broward County Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce, the American Business Women's Association, and she volunteers for Women in Distress.
